Meet Stephen G. Alfano, DDS

Growing up, Dr. Alfano first became interested in dentistry by watching his father, who was also a dentist. Dr. Alfano really enjoys using his skills to find solutions that will help you feel better about your smile. That’s why he’s been providing patients with outstanding dental care for over 24 years.

Dr. Alfano is an experienced implant dentist with advanced knowledge in the field. In fact, he’s published several articles and he authored a chapter in a textbook about the immediate loading of dental implants.

Education

Dr. Alfano began his dental career at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in San Antonio. During dental school, he developed an interest in Prosthodontics, which is one of ten areas of specialization recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA).

After finishing dental school, Dr. Alfano completed an additional three-year residency in order to become a Board Certified Prosthodontist. This specialization means he has advanced training in the design, manufacturing, and placement of dental implants and other dental prostheses such as crowns and veneers.

Dr. Alfano completes continuing education courses every year to stay up-to-date with all the technological advances that make dentistry such an exciting field.
